#AFMLTA2015 welcomes submissions from practising language educators at all levels of education, researchers, pre-service teachers and postgraduate students, as well as others with a languages focus. A mix of theory and practice foci leads to a rich and engaging program. All submissions are subject to double-blind peer review and there is the possibility of publication in Babel, the journal of the AFMLTA. Proposal types include:
- Paper (30 minutes plus 20 minutes discussion)
- Workshop (50 minutes)
- Teachmeet session (50 minutes – up to seven 5 minute papers)
- Posters
Submissions can be in any one of the following broad areas:
- Research and theory
- Practice and Pedagogy
- Technology
- Policy
- Leadership
The overall theme of the conference is ‘Pedagogies for a plurilingual Australia’ which we would like to explore from a variety of national and international perspectives.
