Last Saturday, November 20th 2021, the MLTAWA held its annual general meeting and a new Committee was elected.
As the new President of the MLTAWA, I would like to take this opportunity to formally thank the 2021 Committee for all their work and dedication. In particular, I would like to thank Helen Kuehs, now Immediate Past President, for leading the association over the past two years.
As the new MLTAWA President, I hope to be able to continue to support the delivery of quality Languages programs in Western Australia and to promote the study of all languages while advocating for our teachers and our profession.
It is with pleasure that I would like to introduce the 2022 Committee to our members HERE.
As we plan the year ahead, I would like to invite you all to get in touch with us should you have any queries, suggestions or requests, whether this is in relation to professional learning opportunities, contributions or simply to share ideas. I strongly believe that by working closely with all our members we will succeed in ensuring that languages programs are regarded as fundamental to the education of each and every student.
