Inquiry into Building Asia Capability in Australia through the education system and beyond
Parliamentary Inquiry – please make a submission!
The House of Representatives Standing Committee on Education will inquire into the development of Asia capability within Australia, including the teaching and learning of Asian languages. This includes the consideration of the current state of Asian language learning in schools, and strategies to stimulate demand and improve access.
Individuals and organisations are invited to share their opinions and proposals as written submissions. You can read more about the focus of the inquiry and terms of reference via the link below. Submissions are due by November 7, 2026.
