The Modern Language Teachers Association of Western Australia has partnered with the State Government, through the Office of Multicultural Interests, to bring home the message that languages matter a lot. More than half the world speaks more than one language daily. Languages in the Mainstream is a project to promote a love of learning languages, culminating in a full week of activities during the annual WA Languages Week (first full week in August).
